A nice day

2 presentations yesterday.

One was at the morning, scheduled at 9 a.m but due to many other precedence groups presenting their projects, mine was done at about 12 or so.

The whole slot somehow finished at about 12:40-12:50. Soon after I was told that my second project presentation was rescheduled from 5:40 p.m to 2:20. What the heck? Just after Friday prayer, and I didn’t even had lunch yet! Aa deng~

Seems like my rest was perhaps during the Friday prayer, but the sermon by the Imaam was just too great for someone like me to actually deafen the ears and keeps the eyes blind.

The sermon was all about being a Muslim. Not the normal Keep The Environment Clean sermon you would hear at Masjid Negara every now and then.

The Imaam even preached on the ayaah Al-Maidah:54 which sounds :

“O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islâm), Allâh will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allâh, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allâh which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allâh is All Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, AllKnowe”

It is very hard for me to hear such ayaah in public Friday sermon, especially at a university-based masjid. And seriously, it is very touching and instill a new spirit for me.

The Imaam even used the term “Murtad” or “Apostates” on that those who turns back from Islam. The Imaam explained that Islam must be taken not just as a part, but as a whole, including the acceptance of a group which brings Islam as their product to sell.

The Imaam even urged the Muslims to be part of the jamaah which puts Islam as the single vision through the Rasulullah s.a.w. words:

“Verily give in yourselves into a jamaah of Muslims and its leaders”

I’ll try to ask the Imaam for the slide presentation to be uploaded here after this.

Syukran jazilan Ust Rahmat.

And by the way, alhamdulillah all my presentations went okay, fine. Of course there are always room for improvements, but overall, the presentations were magnificent. Thanks guys 🙂
